Ownership Stages

1
Stage 1 — Parcel SurveyPendingCurrent
Surveying 35 acres

A licensed land surveyor will formally survey and stake the 35-acre parcel that will become Phase 2. This establishes the legal boundaries, topography, and easements required for all future legal filings.

What this means for you: No action needed from members at this stage. Once complete, you will receive the official survey document in your member portal.

Stage 2 — Choose Community NamePending
Name the community

Phase 2 members will collectively choose an official name for the community. This name will be used for the LLC, deed, signage, and all legal documents going forward.

What this means for you: You'll be invited to submit and vote on name options through the Polls section of the member portal. Every Phase 2 member gets a vote.

Stage 3 — File LLCPending
Form the legal entity

An LLC will be formed in the name chosen by members. The operating agreement will define collective ownership, governance, member rights, and the subdivision framework for future individual plots.

What this means for you: Members will review and sign the operating agreement. Each member becomes an equity member of the LLC upon execution.

Stage 4 — Deed ConveyancePending
Hereafter Farms transfers the deed

Once the LLC is established and all members have signed the operating agreement, Hereafter Farms will convey the deed for the 35-acre parcel to the Phase 2 LLC. At this point, Phase 2 collectively owns its land.

What this means for you: This is the finish line. You will receive a copy of the recorded deed. Future subdivision of individual plots begins after this stage.

Full access to all Hereafter amenities — lake, event center, shop, trails, and more.
Community
Access to the community board, events, polls, and surveys.
Messaging
Direct messaging with other members and admin.
Dues
Phase 2 members participate in the annual dues structure starting 2027.
