The vision

Most land developments sell you a plot and walk away. The Hereafter is built differently. The land is a platform — for community, for production, for a way of life that the mainstream world makes harder and harder to access.
We're building a water company from our 46 gpm surplus. We're rehabilitating a 12-acre lake. We're connecting five distinct communities through shared infrastructure, shared governance, and shared commitment to this land.

What we promise each other
Every family on this land signs the same covenant. It's not a list of restrictions — it's a shared promise about how we'll live, build, and treat each other. In plain English, here's what we agree to.
Sustainability above convenience
Every decision — from how we build to what we plant to how we govern — is measured against whether our grandchildren will inherit a healthier place than we found. Cheaper, faster, and easier come second to lasting and right.
The golden rule, in practice
We treat each neighbor the way we'd want to be treated — in disagreements, in shared resources, in how we welcome people. This isn't a slogan. It's how disputes get resolved and how decisions get made.
We build what we need, ourselves
Our school, our food, our water, our businesses, our birth help, our shared amenities — created by and for the people who live here. We rely on outside systems where it makes sense, but the goal is genuine self-sufficiency.
Land that stays in good hands
Parcels can be passed down, sold within the community, or sold outside it under conditions that protect the covenant. No subdividing into postage stamps. No flipping for profit. The land outlives all of us; we steward it accordingly.

How we got here
Our story
2025
Infrastructure and amenities begin
Camping and yurts launch. Phase 1 subdivision officially approved. Building plans begin across the property.
2026
Platform launches
The Hereafter digital home launches — member portal, amenity bookings, community governance, documents, events, and communications all in one place. The 46 gpm community well project officially launches.
Now
Growing the community
Most of the original communities have sold out. The Homestead — our 2026 release — is the active path for new families. The event center, water company, and wildlife preserve are the horizon we're building toward together.
